Fozia Umber

Prof. Dr. Fozia Umber Qureshi is a highly experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 25 years of clinical experience in women’s health. She holds MBBS, FCPS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), M.S. Gynae-Oncology (Spain), CMT, and Diploma in Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgery, along with extensive international training in advanced gynecological procedures and reproductive medicine.

She has served for more than 10 years as Professor and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital and Lahore Medical and Dental College, Lahore. She is actively involved as an undergraduate and postgraduate medical teacher, clinical supervisor, and examiner with the University of Health Sciences (UHS) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).

Dr. Fozia provides comprehensive women’s healthcare services including pregnancy care, pre- and post-pregnancy management, delivery care, infertility treatment, laparoscopic and gynecologic surgery, and the management of high-risk pregnancies and complex cesarean operations. She specializes in treating tumors of the female reproductive organs, pelvic floor disorders, uro-gynecological issues, and pelvic organ prolapse, while also offering contraceptive counseling, reproductive health services, and menopause management.

Her advanced international training includes:

• Master Certificate in Gynaecologic Laparoscopic Surgery – Germany

• Fellowship in Hysteroscopy – Cairo

• Master Certificate in Urogynaecology – Germany

• Diploma in Advanced Assisted Reproductive Techniques – ESHRE

• Diploma in Healthcare and Lean Hospital Management – PIMS

Dr. Fozia also holds a Certificate in Medical Teaching and a Certificate in Medical Editing from the University of Health Sciences, Pakistan.

She is the author of five chapters in the medical book “Obstetrics in a Minute” and has more than 18 research publications in national and international medical journals. She is also the Co-Founder of Awaaz-e-Sehat, contributing to initiatives that promote public health awareness and community wellbeing.
